01
Load the Plugin on your DAW
Open your DAW and insert the Jamahook plugin as an FX on the Master Channel. This allows it to listen to your entire mix.

Hit Match and Let it Listen
Go through the guided first-time match experience. Click the “Match” button and then play your project. You will see the plugin listening to your music and start analyzing.

Audition your Matches
You will see a list of matches available for the section it listened to. You can play these matches on the plugin on top of your playback to see how they sound together.

Use Guest Mode or Sign Up
You can do up to 10 free matches in guest mode by going back to the match screen using the left nav. Or, sign up for unlimited matches.

Buy Cloud Loops
Like something from the matches? You can buy them for commercial use using loop credits from one of our Cloud Subscription plans.

Cloud Matching FAQs
You can do an unlimited number of cloud matches if you have an account with us. Creating an account is free – you only need to purchase a Cloud Subscription if you want to BUY any cloud loops for commercial use.
You’re only limited to 10 cloud matches if you are in guest more. You will have to create an account with us to continue using after that limit is reached.
First, you should check if the plugin has been successfully installed into any one of the default folders of your operating system:
MacOS folders:
- [Macintosh HD]/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3
- [Macintosh HD]/Users/Username/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
Windows VST3 folders:
- \Program Files\Common Files\VST3
- \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3
Once found, ensure that your DAW is scanning that folder for plugins.
A Cloud Loop Subscription with us gives you monthly loop credits. You can use these credits to buy the high quality samples from Cloud Matches. Once you buy a sound, you have full commercial rights to use them in your music.
Yes. Once you buy a loop, you can use it anywhere you want and as many times you want in your music/productions. You are only not allowed to resell/redistribute the sounds as is.
Unless explicitly provided to us via Support or the Feedback module, all user sounds that are analyzed and used for online matching are deleted as soon as the matching process is completed and your matches are served.
