Launch the JamahookAgent
Search for the 
JamahookAgent app on your Mac or PC. The desktop agent is installed automatically with the Jamahook Sound Assistant.
As a first time user, you can enable the trial to get 14 days free and match with up to 10,000 local sounds.

Add folders to Index
Start adding folders for local indexing. This process analyzes all the audio files found inside your selected folders and gets them ready for local matching.

Wait for Indexing to Finish
This can take a bit of time depending on how many files you’re indexing.
You can start local matching even when it is indexing, but we recommend that you wait for it to finish to get the best matching experience.

Switch to Local Matching on the Plugin
Open your DAW and add the Jamahook Sound Assistant plugin to your master track. Ensure that your Jamahook Desktop Agent is also running.
Go to the Match Settings page from the left navigation and switch to Local Matching.

Ready to Find Local Matches!
You are now ready to find local matches.
Go to the Match screen. You should be able to see that Local Matching is enabled on the toggle button below. You can switch back to Cloud Matches quickly using this any time.
Hit Match, play your project, and wait for the local matches to be served!

Local Matching FAQs
Every new signup is provided with a free 14 day local matching license. You can index up to 10,000 sounds and find local matches from them using this trial.
In order to continue using Local Matching after your free trial ends, you need to purchase an agent license through a one-time payment.
There are two types of licenses:
- Basic License: Index up to 10,000 local audio files and find matches from them.
- Pro License: Find local matches from an unlimited number of indexed files.
Yes, you can upgrade your license by paying only the price difference between the two plans at any time. This can be done through your account from the web portal at vst.jamahook.com.
There is no renewal or recurring fee for the offline agent and local matching service. Once you buy a license, you can use it forever.
The Pro version of the license can match with as many sounds as you want. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that matching naturally takes longer based on how many loops you have indexed.
None of your local sounds reach our servers during the process of local matching. It all happens within your machine.
